Chiropractic

Chiropractic is used to treat neuromusculoskeletal problems through gentle adjustment techniques. A chiropractic adjustment is a therapeutic treatment by a licensed chiropractor. Your chiropractor will use pressure to manipulate joints in your body to realign your spine and reduce pain and discomfort. Chiropractic adjustments complement traditional medical care you receive.

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a component of traditional Chinese medicine in which thin needles are inserted into the body. The points treated help stimulate the central nervous system, which in turn releases chemicals into the body and stimulates the body's natural healing abilities.

Cupping is a form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin with the application of cups. IVF & IUI Acupuncture

Acupuncture can improve success rates of IUI by increasing blood flow to the ovaries during a medicated cycle, relaxing the uterus so it is more receptive to the treatment, and can address uterine spasms that may occur after the IUI procedure.

It has been shown that the IVF success rate is greatly improved if acupuncture treatment is applied 3 to 6 months before IVF cycles and after IVF embryo transferring. Acupuncture helps to increase the uterine blood flow to make the lining of the uterus more receptive to receiving an embryo, and reduce the risk of a miscarriage.

Acupuncture & Hormones

Acupuncture presents a safe way to balance hormones without medications, or side effects/risks found in conventional medicine. Placing needles at the main energy canals can activate other organs and glands guiding a person’s “Qi” (pronounced Chi) or energy.

Acupuncture can help to restore hormone balance by stimulating endorphin production, reducing stress hormones often linked to imbalances, promoting relaxation.

It increases blood circulation, allowing for more efficient delivery of hormones throughout the body. It encourages the natural production of specific hormones such as testosterone and estrogen, helping promote a balanced level of these important hormones. Finally, it helps to reset the body’s “internal clock”, which can also help to regulate hormones.
